OUR PROCESS

Consultation
Your dream starts at the initial consult. We come to your space and discuss your wants, needs, and budget. Our designer walks you through any initial questions and uses the information in this meeting to start an initial design.

Design Review
The next step is a design review which takes place in our office. Here we show you renderings of what your space could look like. We also go over an initial estimate that details the potential costs of your project.

Contract
Once the design is approved and materials are selected, all that's left to do is sign! We utilize digital signing software so you can review the contract in the comfort of your home.

Consultation
Booking a consultation is easy! Simply call our office, send a message here, or stop in our showroom. This meeting typically takes place in your space so we can gather measurements, pictures, and more information about your project. To help our designers capture your vision, preparing with inspiration pictures, and idea of your budget, and your must haves allow us to properly prepare an estimate and design. Websites like Pinterest and Houzz are great to gather inspiration from, or our own gallery! Typically, these appointments last about an hour or more depending on the size of the room and other factors. From here, our designer will schedule a ballpark/design review meeting at our showroom. Usually these are scheduled a week after the consult.
During the design review, you'll be shown initial renderings of what your space could look like. Think of this as the first draft—your chance to get excited and give honest feedback. Don’t hesitate to share what you love, what you’re unsure about, or what you’d like to see changed. This collaborative step helps our designer tailor the space to match your style, needs, and preferences. Just keep in mind that some design elements may be required to meet local building codes or general housing standards.
As part of this process, we’ll also prepare an allowance document that outlines estimated costs for key items in your design, such as tile, countertops, cabinetry, and fixtures. These figures are flexible and may adjust based on your final material selections, but they give a clear picture of what to expect early on.
Once the ballpark scope and budget feel right, we’ll collect a design retainer to move forward into the next phase. This allows us to refine your plans, dig into the details, and begin preparing for a smooth construction process.

Material Selection
After the ballpark meeting, the fun really begins—it's time to choose your materials! Our showroom features an extensive selection of samples, so you can see and touch the products that will be used in your remodel. We can even photograph your selections and place the exact materials into your design renderings, helping you better visualize the final look.
This part of the process can take anywhere from one meeting to several—it all depends on how quickly we land on the right materials for your space. Our designer is here to guide you every step of the way, offering expert advice on what works best for your layout and lifestyle. For example, a tile might look perfect for a shower but have a rating that isn’t ideal for wet areas—that’s where our expertise makes all the difference.
Behind the scenes, we handle all the technical details—from planning plumbing layouts and prepping your floors for installation to accurately estimating material quantities. You get to focus on the exciting parts while we take care of the rest.

Once all design and material selections are complete, we’ll schedule your Final Review meeting. During this step, we’ll walk through every detail of your project—from materials and finishes to labor scope—to make sure everything is accurate and aligned with your expectations. We’ll also review the final contract, including your full project investment and timeline.
This is your chance to ask any last-minute questions and feel confident that everything is in place before we move forward. Once approved, we collect a project deposit to officially secure your spot on our schedule.
After this, our production team steps in as your main point of contact, keeping you updated as we move toward construction. Don’t worry—your designer doesn’t disappear! They’ll continue to stay involved behind the scenes and check in as needed to ensure everything comes together just as planned, all the way through to completion.
